It is spring semester guest lecture week for my classes on Sustainable Bussiness Law (JD) and International Business Transactions (LLM) at the University of Oregon School of Law from February 22 -24, 2022.



The Sustainable Business Law Class

The class was very glad to hear Daniella D. Landers, Partner, Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP speak about corporate compliance and emerging ESG trends in the US.




International Business Transactions (LLM)

Considering the international background of my LLM students, they were very excited and learned a lot from Adeola Summola, Partner, Udo Udoma, and Belo-Osagie (Lagos, Nigeria) on the distinctions between Islamic financing and conventional financing arrangements in international sales of goods.

This is such a timely piece – thank you for sharing it. The discussion highlights how important it is for professionals to stay informed as regulations and ethical expectations continue to evolve.
